MORE BIG BOX COMPANIES EATING UP SMALLER ONES
Is you tube the same as before? the answer to that is no
as they do not have the same love and care that the original creators did.
It’s much like the small mom and pop stores we grew up with, they cared
that you were their customers.
If you were a few cents short for a bottle of milk,or bread they would say catch me on your next
trip in.
the garage was the same way and gas was just 16 cents a gallon. Today it’s big business
or BIG BOX stores, that just want your money, or credit card info.
I hate to say in but the web is slowly changing the mom and pop stores
went thru.
I can remember when You Tube started, it would take your creative videos, and put them up
if you were a few megs above , it was ok they would still list them.
Tonight i loaded a very small meg video and , processing is compleated. 100%
Upload shows 100%, but it still states finishing upload.
Now going on one hour, if i want to leave to do something else, in a few miuites
of time it will give me a message Upload failed.
So i just sit here waiting.
Why?????
The answer again , its no longer you tube , but the BIG BOX
non caring system, Who am I just a little , guy trying
to post a video.
Now lets go back to a few months
ago, when i got a message , from a new company on the web called
Motion Box, it was free , and offered 10 gb of videos posted free.
I did it, this was great an alternative way,to post new videos
of talent I rec now and lots of older ones. Then came the upsell, post all the videos you want, no limit
for only 39 dollars. I joined, put up many giga bytes of videos and I offerd to post a not for profit
,tv show to post them for free,it was great.
Untill once again the BIG BOX called Snapfish/HP purchased it, and we were told
to take off all our videos by August 10th 2010 and they did not offer to provide a place to show them
just storage big box .
So what does a young 69 year old video grapher, singer , songwriter have to
work with,in todays 2010 time.
Does anyone have any feedback please make me see there is a place
for new enterprise people on today’s web world.
Still waiting now 1 1/2 hours for you tube to post my video/
Last check now 2 hours , it says still waiting, but videos are not on You tube.
Still at 2 hours plus the BIG BOX YOU TUBE m has not published my small video
