How to write a love song
by Gerald Ralston
You have to look first at what a love song is first , to learn how to write one.
Over the years there have been thousands of songs written about the word Love .Just take a min to Google the word love and you will come up with millions upon millions of songs with the theme of Love. Writing a song is also a very important thing to learn I did a lot of research on this and have asked Paul Quintalone to use some basics of the creation of a song that goes on in you mind and finally ends up on a piece of paper, and then finally on a CD or what use to be referred to a a record .
I will give you a high lightes that that I have learned to create a song, it will be a be a big unique source of being able to create your own songs or how to rewrite a mini E book of your specific gendra.
THE BIG QUESTION IS
Where do the songs come from ?
I saw a movie that gave me a great response to the question, when on a birthday I was given a DVD
called “August Rush” in it it showed how this young boy would hear beats and sounds as he would
walk through the everyday life. Sounds of jack hammers and air compressors giving out noise or
sounds that start to create a rhythm that if you listen to just one it was noise , but put them all together and you have music. The sound of a screaming guitar and starts to bring the blood to boiling point and other sounds create emotion in our brains. The following information below will explain in depth how you can take sounds that you hear every
day and turn them into a song .
QUESTION?
What is exactly is a love song , what emotion does it have that others do not have , that makes you start to think of a special moment in your life that was special. Remember it does not have to include the word love in it, but 99% of the time it will.
I will list many songs that do, so you can get a good look at how it described in many different ways to
many people , in each and every song they created.
Question?
Where does the song really start ? Its a catchy few words that keep repeating it self , over and over in
you brain that you start to hum. Sometimes you don’t even know your doing it, bu all of a sudden it
starts to take shape like a sketch on a piece of paper the finally turns into a great painting or logo.
THE SKETCH ?
Yes that is a good word for what you are hearing as in the example above. When you “hear” tunes in your mind, you are hearing sounds that you can use to build into a song. A tune usually has a line of words with a beat and a melody. You may hear other
sounds such as background music but we can use the words, beat and melody as three “building blocks” to build songs. In a finished, complex song, the three building blocks could be heard as the words, main beat, and main melody.
Introduction :
Do you “hear” tunes, catchy phrases, melodies or parts of songs in your mind?
Do you feel you could create songs just as good or better than some you hear on the radio,
but you somehow “lose” that tune, catchy phrase, melody or part of a song?
PRODUCTS OR EQUIPMENT YOU NEED TODAY!!!
The best thing that the new composer of today can do is secure a mini hand held digital recorder, that also has a usb connection to inter phase with the computer so you can change the files created to WAV files you can hear on your computer.
I did that and I was able to get ideas that I use to miss . as you here a catchy tune in your
mind , click on the recorder and sing it or hum it so you have a sample that you can listen to
later .This information below was written for the first time songwriter, some of this information may help other songwriters, if only to sharpen their skills. Plus now I want to help other inspiring song writers to do more then say , My songs are as good as the ones on the radio. The music terms I will share here are kept to a minimum and are defined or explained in
simple language. There is a list of definitions, but you may want to use a dictionary to get
more information on the musical terms used. You do not have to be a musician or read music to make songs, but any knowledge about music will help.
YOU CAN SECURE THE BONUS BOOK read all the way tru to get all the details of the
