Ater serving in US Navy in early 1960′s after traveling from base to base and assisting with Naval Air Force traveling show. titled Showtime Mc Guire ,out of Trenton New Jersey. He recorded on
Worldwide Records produced by Frank Virture of “Guitar Boogie Shuffel fame, Returnring to his home Buffalo New York,aka Gerry Gee and the Travelers ,with the hit song”Too Young” and opened the
Mansion House Peppermint Lounge.
Working with Hound Dog George Lorenze,of WBLK radio and Lucky Pieare ,got middle of the road air play.
When weather became an issue He made a trip to Florida, and created The Majestics ,touring thru out east coast to Atlantic City.
Later returning to Buffalo for a short time then out to California and becoming lead singer of The
American Beatles AMOEBA.Touring in Mexico in Mexico City, opening at the Blanquita Theater. All along creating more and more songs,and assisting in the creation of the hit song “Hey lil Girl by the Syndicate of Sound, and I like that Girl by Gerry and Leslie. Later in the years ,the songs where featured on the CD titled Nuggets of the Golden State,the Hush Record story.( Now available on Amazon)
Working in promotions in an around the Bay Area , He became what was referred as a principal , driving force in the Bay area music sound of the 1960′s Finally creating another band name
“Mother Flowers Medicine Wagon,toured with Spanky and our Gang, returning to his home in Buffalo to play the Buffalo State University and the World famous Inferno.Just weeks before it burned to the ground in Glen Park in Williamsville New York.
It was there Gerald Ralston decided to return to his real love writing. Then He created with guidance of the University of Buffalo,a publication titled N.O.W or New Open World, Family Tree, and a cartoon publication,called Generation Gap. Also at that time it was then He met an artist Jessee
Nazareth ,assisting in the creation of Alchemist , arts and music publication.
It was at That point He stared to get itchy fingers to perform again, and was discovered
by Ollie Britton , Alan Jacobs who became his manager taking Him to Canada , where at the event titled Mariposa Folk Festival in Toronto Canada , created the theme song after the festival name Mariposa, and Rock and Mole recording in Thunder sound Recording Studios.
putting him to another name, titled Instant Ralston and friends
on two record lables Gamma and Scepter. A year later 1971 Rock and Mole ,a song he created at age 11 , the B side of Mariposa was selected as ‘The Best record of the year so far, by music reporter for Cream Magazine Greg Shaw.
It was during this time He also created a tribute to Stan Lee of Marvel,titled “It’s a comic book world.
Another big change happened in his life as He had a personal
experience, meeting Jesus Christ as his personal savior. Plus a lady that
assisted him in his personal life as his mate and
singing partner, known as Donna and GER
